8 items (originally accompanying a report on the commerce and navigation of the Magdalena, 5 February 1824) extracted from FO 18/4 (folios 43-50). Colombia: Magdalena River. (1-7) Map, on 7 sheets, showing the river from its mouth to Mompos, with soundings; the progress of the steamboat which surveyed it is marked along its course. Reference notes to the navigability of the river, topography and temperature; key to symbols used for settlements. Scale: 1 inch to about 4 miles. Compass indicator. (8) Sheet containing sketches of a bungo and a champan.
