1 item (enclosure to memorandum respecting the Yunnan Ming Hsing Mining Company, by J B Affleck, Acting Consul, 27 August 1920) extracted from FO 371/6590. Burma (now also known as Myanmar) and China: Yunnan. 'Sketch map to illustrate Report on a Journey to American Mining Camp North off Tengyueh [?now Taunggyi]': shows the area between the Salween (now Nu Jiang) and Irrawaddy (now Ayeyarwady) rivers, Mr Affleck's itinerary, the site of mining camps at Ta Tung, lead and silver mines, other rivers, villages, and the proposed route for a motor road. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 4 miles. Compass indicator.
