Description

2 items (enclosure to Colonel H F P Percival's despatch, 29 March 1921) extracted from FO 371/5892. (1) 'British Section Interallied Administrative and Plebiscite Commission Upper-Silesia. Map and Summary Table showing Preliminary Results of Plebiscite by Districts (Kreise). Large Towns (Stadtkreise) are shown merged with Surrounding Districts (Landkreise)': indicates the districts with German and Polish majorities and the proportion of their populations belonging to each ethnic group. Typed reference table of votes cast in favour of Germany and Poland. (2) Similar to item 1, except that results from large towns are shown separately to those from rural districts. Dimensions: (1) 45 cm × 22 cm; (2) 39 cm x 22 cm.
