1 item (enclosure in Acting Consul Churchill's despatch no 7 Africa of 26 October 1889) extracted from FO 84/1969 (f 414). 'Central Africa': map showing political boundaries, British and German spheres of influence in East Africa, the Congo Free Trade Area, and Khama's Country. Reference table to European and other possessions. Printed and published by E Stanford, 26 & 27 Cockspur Street, Charing Cross, London. MS additions show the areas in Mozambique and Rhodesia covered by treaties concluded by Portugal with Native Chiefs between January and September 1889. MS reference table to treaty areas and chiefs' names. Inscribed: 'In Acting Consul Churchill (Mozambique) No. 7 Africa 26 Oct. '89'.
