Description

1 item (enclosure with memorandum dated 9 January 1902 from Mr D A Cameron to Lord Cromer) extracted from FO 141/366. Egypt. 'Mediterranean. Suez Canal. Port Said'. Magnetic variation 1890. Surveyed by L S Dawson, Commander RN, assisted by G C Frederick, H H Douglas, S T Dean-Pitt, P N Richards and P C Musgrave, Lieutenants RN, and E A Day, Sub-Lieutenant RN, HM Surveying Ship Sylvia, July-August 1888. Published at the Admiralty, 6 February 1890. Small corrections 1891-1900. Coloured MS additions show Admiralty property. Date stamped 31 December 1901.
