1 item extracted from FO 84/2081. Part of an Admiralty chart: shows the coast of west Africa between about 11°W and 2°E. Scale: 1 inch to about 50 miles. Compass roses. Published at the Admiralty, 10 April 1885. Black and red ink additions indicate coastal littoral of Liberian, French and British territories; notes on territorial claims and cessions between 1868 and 1888. These additions relate to a report of 24 February 1888 by G W Hand, Capt RN, HMS Royalist.
