3 items extracted from FO 72/215 (folios 101-103). Maps of Chile. (1) 'Map of the environs of Santiago showing the order of battle of the forces engaged in the battle of Maypú, 1818'. Scale: 1 inch to about. 75 mile. Compass indicator. (2) Plan of the Battle of Talca between the Chilean army under General San Martin and the forces under the command of General Osorio. Scale: about 3 inches to 2 miles. Compass star. (3) Sheet of explanation and references to accompany (1). Dimensions of sheets: (1) 86. 1 cm x 64 cm; (2) 35. 6 cm x 50. 3 cm; (3) 35. 8 cm x 31 cm.
