Also shows area in British Columbia along the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Gulf of Georgia. Table of abbreviations; table of lighthouses; tide table; note on sources. Compass roses. Topography and hydrography executed between 1841 and 1850. Triangulated between 1853 and 1859. Electrotype copy no 1 by G Mathiot, US Coast Survey. Verified by J E Hilyard, USCS. Printed to illustrate print of the Treaty of Washington, 8 May 1871.
