1 item (enclosure to Consul General Playfair's despatch no 16 of 12 February 1885) extracted from FO 27/2745. Algeria: 'St. Denis du Sig': sheet 182 of 'Carte Topographique de l'Algérie'. Reference table to roads, railways, river crossings, other topographical features. Surveyed in 1881 and 1882 by Capt Larnac, Lt Ste Claire Deville, Lt Constantin, Capt Chauvot, Lt de Beaurepaire and Lt de Laynes d'Autroche. Drawn, engraved and published at the Dépôt de la Guerre, 1883. Printed by Lemercier & Cie, Paris. Impression of July 1884. MS additions show district inundated after the bursting of the reservoirs; positions of barrages; Col Twentyman's farm.
