'Map shewing the movements of the U.S. Army now engaged in the Conquest of Mexico exhibiting the probable routes of the army from its departure from Comargo to Monterey, Satillo &c, the different rivers, streams and their tributaries, and the distances in leagues from one village or Ranche to another; being an exact copy of the Chart of General Arista taken at the battle of Resaca de la Palma, 9 th May 1846'. Distances along roads are shown in Mexican leagues. Reference table to roads, mule paths, unconfirmed roads. Scale: 1 inch to about 6 miles. Compass indicator. Lithographed by J Manouvrier and P Snell. Published by Charles R Glynn, New Orleans, September 1846.
