1 item (formerly bound with the Journal of the Commissioners for executing Article 6 of the Treaty of Ghent, 1814) extracted from FO 303/29. 'A General Map of the Country North West of Lake Superior' (endorsement): survey for the boundary between Canada and the United States of America, showing the river system to Rainy Lake; place names, portages, distances. Notes on surveys. No scale shown: 1 inch to about 4.6 miles (calculated). Compass indicator. Compiled from the maps made by [James] Ferguson and George Whistler in 1823-1824, Samuel Thompson and D Thompson in 1823-1824, and Samuel Thompson in 1825.
The piece which formerly bore map reference MPK 57 (extracts from FO 302/28) was transferred to MPK 1/189
