1 item (enclosure to Count Alfred Nugent's letter of 10 February 1840 to Colonel Hodges, Consul General in Egypt) extracted from FO 78/404 (folio 39). Plan of the defences of Alexandria, Egypt, showing the probable position of the Egyptian fleet in the Old Port, and the proposed position of a British bombarding squadron off the city. Scale: 4 inches to 1 mile. Compass rose. Drawn by Count Alfred Nugent, Lt Imperial Austrian Navy, who added many notes to the plan.
