1 item extracted from FO 65/1003. Map of St Petersburg, Russia, with southern Finland and the Gulf of Finland, showing rivers, lakes, roads, towns etc. No scale shown: scale calculated. The map is cut from a larger sheet. MS additions. Drawn to illustrate 'Report on part of the Southern Coast of the Gulf of Finland, having regard to the practicability of a descent for striking at St. Petersburgh', drawn up for Colonel Wellesley by E F G Law, late Lt RA, 22 May 1878. Law says that the map 'may be relied on as to general features of the country, position of towns, but is not absolutely accurate, failing more especially with regard to the bye-roads ...'.
