South-west Asia and south-east Europe. 3 maps showing rivers, contours, towns, railways, etc: (1) 'Map No. 1 Turkey in Europe Zone of the Straits Smyrna the Islands'; (2) 'Map No. 2 Southern frontier of Turkey in Asia'; (3) 'Map No. 3. Peninsula of Gallipoli [now Gelibolu]'. Scale: (1-2) 1:1, 000, 000; (3) 1:50, 000. Sides of items 1-2 not parallel because of projection. Based on maps by Geographical Section, General Staff. Overprinting, coloured, to all items, showing the old and new frontiers of Turkish territory (including areas now in Greece, Iraq and Syria). Reference tables to overprinting. Overprinted by the S. G. A. [Service Géographique de l'Armée], 28 July 1920. Dimensions: (1) 84 cm x 65 cm; (2) 44 cm x 97 cm; (3) 61. 5 cm x 47. 5 cm.
