1 item extracted from FO 83/302. Track chart, showing the proposed route round the world to be taken by a flying squadron, with dates. Published under the supervision of Captain Warrington, Royal Navy, 30 June 1858; [?] revised 1865 and 1865. Originally sent, with the proposed programme, by the Admiralty to the Foreign Office, with a view to the Secretary of State arranging the necessary authorization at each port of call. The proposed route starts at Plymouth and progresses via the east coat of South America, Cap Town, and Melbourne to New Zealand and returns via Japan, British Columbia, the Sandwich Islands, the west coast of South America and Cape Horn to Plymouth.
