Description

1 item (originally enclosed with an Admiralty letter, 2 June 1883) extracted from FO 48/41. 'Africa East Coast Delagoa Bay [now Maputo Bay] to Cape Guardafui [now Raas Caseyr, Somaila] including Mozambique Channel and Madagascar with the off-lying Islands and Reefs. Compiled from British and Foreign Government Surveys to 1881'. Compass roses. Engraved by Davies & Co; published at the Admiralty, 21 October 1881. MS additions to Madagascar Island.
