Description

1 extract from KB 122/1310 rot 3152. Map to accompany enclosure award of 13 February 1837 pursuant to 7 & 8 Geo IV, c xxxv. Enclosure map of Penge (hamlet), Surrey. Map covers the whole parish / township (770.018 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows named canal (with towpath), post-enclosure field acreages, footpaths or bridleways, named roads, road widths, houses, some named buildings, glebe land, sale lots, boundary posts (pictorial), field boundary ownership, some named landowners, named enclosure allottees. With compass indicator. Scale: 1 inch to 4 chains. By [?Richard Peyton], surveyor.
