Description

1 item extracted from KB 122/596 rot 136. Map to accompany enclosure award, of 18 December 1790, of Hemington Manor in Lockington, pursuant to 29 Geo III, c lxi. Enclosure map of Hemmington [Hemington] (lordship in the parish of Lockington), Leicestershire. Map covers the whole parish / township (1439.218 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, named canal, river (with direction of flow), osiers, open fields, some open field names, list of post-enclosure field acreage, hedges, named footpaths or bridleways, roads (some named), field boundary ownership, list of enclosure allottees. Scale: 1 inch to 8 chains. By [?Robert Wyatt], Buton on Trent, Staffordshire, [1790].
