'Map showing the Local Government District of Shipley, As Extended by an Order of the County Council for the West Riding of Yorkshire April 8th 1891, and confirmed by an Order of the Local Government Board, Octr. 28th 1891'. A later title has been pasted above the map: 'Shipley Urban District Council. Application for Charter of Municipal Incorporation, shewing portions of Crag & Woodland Wards added to Market Ward, 1898'. With reference table added to show buildings erected after 1891. Scale: 1 inch to 6 chains. The rateable value and number of voters in each ward are also shown. Compass star. Folded to fit between stiff covers 19.0 cm x 12.0 cm. Lithographed by S O Bailey & Co, Leeds Rd., Bradford. Authorised by Shipley Local Board. W H Dawson, Surveyor to the Council [?1898].
