1 item, numbered (2), (originally enclosed with a memorandum in despatch number 25 from Cecil Simpson, Architect and Surveyor, His Britannic Majesty's Office of Works, Shanghai, to Sir Claude M MacDonald, Tokyo, 7 August 1908) extracted from FO 262/984A (folio 262). Japan: Hokkaido: Otaru. Detailed street plan showing numbered houses, rivers, hills, the coastline, piers, parks, fields, schools, public buildings, businesses and temples. Scroll cartouche bearing a title, in Japanese. Reference tables to trades and businesses with their addresses, telephone numbers and trademarks. Compass indicator. compiled, printed and published by Toshichi Ishikawa, Ishikawa Survey Office, Otaru, September 1902. Inset: panoramic view of the town.
