From 1945 to 1964 (the beginning of the Attlee administration to the end of the Douglas-Home administration) there is one ascending GEN sequence from 1 to 881; from 1964 to 1970 (the Wilson administrations) the sequence is MISC 1 to 271; from 1970 the sequence reverts to start from GEN 1 again. Arrangement is generally chronological year by year and within years by ascending order of GEN or MISC numbers.
