Description

This series consists of the records of the production of the United Kingdom Civil Histories of the Second World War.

The series includes the 'confidential print' version of the histories, which include source references, keyed to the text and indexed, which were usually omitted from the published volumes. It also contains authors' typescripts, drafts and revisions; critical commentaries, unpublished narratives and correspondence on progress and publication of the volumes.

Please note that the dates in square brackets are approximate and based on the volumes publication dates or on the series date range.
