Description

This series consists of records relating to the production of the United Kingdom military histories of the Second World War.

The series includes the 'confidential print' versions of the histories, which include source references, keyed to the text and indexed, which were usually omitted from the published volumes. It also contains authors' typescripts, drafts and revisions; critical commentaries, unpublished narratives and correspondence on progress and publication of the volumes.
