Middlesex: Bethnal Green (now in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets). Three maps showing the vicinity of the Approach Road to Victoria Park, as proposed to be laid out. (1) Showing the Union Workhouse, church of Saint James the Less, lands belonging to Captain Sotheby, farm buildings, and trees in elevation. (2) Showing numbered land lots and the sites of workshops, houses and stables. (3) Showing the proposed sites of two roads to be left for future consideration, with trees in elevation; approved by the Commission of Her Majesty's Woods, Forests, etc, 6 March 1845. Scale: (1) 1 inch to about 120 feet [1:1,440]; (2) 1 inch to 100 feet [1:1,200]. Compass indicators to items (1) and (3). By James Pennethorne.
