Middlesex: Paddington and Bayswater (now in the City of Westminster). 'Plan of the River Bays shewing the foul drainage conveyed into the Serpentine River': map covering the area between Harrow Road (near the Paddington Basin) and Uxbridge Road (now Bayswater Road) at the northern edge of Kensington Gardens; also showing the Paddington Branch of the Grand Junction Canal, other waterways and sewers, buildings, and trees. Reference notes on the property of the Lord Bishop of London and the Trustees of Paddington and the property of the Grand Junction Water Works Company. Scale: 1 inch to 2 chains. Compass indicator. Some features appear to be later additions to the original map. Endorsed with reference notes. Folded and stored in a solander [case]; a label affixed to the map states that it was 'fitted up' by James Wyld, Geographer to the King, Charing Cross East.
