Map (of land now in the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Hackney) showing a boundary fence (as a red dotted line) round Victoria Park; also showing the Regents Canal, Sir George Duckett's Canal (afterwards called the Hertford Union Canal), Old Ford Lane (now Old Ford Road), Cambridge Heath and Grove Street Lane (now Grove Road). Scale: 1 inch to 200 feet. Compass indicator. [By] James Pennethorne, 28 June 1844. Inset: elevation and sections of the fence, with measurements and a brief descriptive note; scale: 4 inches to 5 feet [1:15].
