Enclosure map of Dent (township), West Riding of Yorkshire. Map comprises Ordnance Survey 1:10,560 sheets joined: Yorkshire, sheets 63, 64, 79, 80 and 81. These maps are a pre-publication state, without contours. Map covers the enclosed area and some other land (20,000 acres) and shows the land before and after enclosure. Includes 11 manuscript enlargements of details from the main map. Also shows field boundary ownership. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile. Map certified for accuracy, 27 January 1859. Valuer: John Elam, Sedbergh, Yorkshire, Land Surveyor
