Enclosure award and map of Thornton Rust (township in the parish of Aysgarth), North Riding of Yorkshire. Map covers the enclosed area only (320 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows well, named commons, post-enclosure field acreages, level, named footpaths or bridleways, fence lengths, road widths, field boundary ownership, some named landowners, named enclosure allottees, relief (shown by hachures). With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. By Richard Garth, Ings House, Hawes, Yorkshire, [1852]. Map certified for accuracy, 15 March 1855. Valuer: Edward Broderick, Summer Lodge, Grinton, Yorkshire, Land Surveyor
