Enclosure award and map of Thornton Rust [Thornton Rust Moor] (township in the parish of Aysgarth), North Riding of Yorkshire. Map covers the enclosed area and some other land (1350 acres) and shows the land before and after enclosure. Also shows springs, named commons, post-enclosure field acreages, named gates, footpaths or bridleways, road widths, quarry, turbary reserve, dove stones, shooting house, field boundary ownership, some named landowners, named enclosure allottees, relief (shown by hachures). With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown, with chainages. By Richard Garth, Ings House, Hawes, Yorkshire, Land Surveyor, 1849. Map certified for accuracy, 15 March 1855.
