Description

Enclosure award and map of Coventry - Waste Lands (in the parish of St Michael, St John the Baptist and Holy Trinity), Warwickshire. Map covers the enclosed area only (62 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. There is an index to the various parts. Also shows lakes or ponds, canal, well, coal wharf, basin, named commons, footpaths or bridleways, named turnpike roads, roads (some named), graveyard, railway, sale lots. Industrial land-use: brickyard. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 2 chains. By [?Copyhold, Enclosure and Tithe Commission], [1874]. Map certified for accuracy, 22 June 1875. Valuer: Edward James Smith, 16 Whitehall Place, Westminster, Land Surveyor
