Also shows lakes or ponds, named commons, hedges, fences or walls, named turnpike roads, roads (some named), stopped-up and diverted roads, houses, named inn, lodge, waggonway tracks, pit or quarry, mounds [? waste], boundary stones, field boundary ownership, some named landowners, relief (shown by hachures). Industrial land-use: colliery. Scale: 1 inch to 2 chains. Construction lines shown. By J Mathews, 1866. Map certified for accuracy, 12 March 1868.
