Commons regulation award and map of Ashdown Forest (in the parish of East Grinstead, Hartfield, Withyam, Buxted, Maresfield and Fletching), Sussex. Maps comprise Ordnance Survey 1: 10,560 sheets joined and are supplemented by small parts of Ordnance Survey 1:2500 sheets. Map on two sheets covering the enclosed area and some other land (6000 acres) and showing the land after enclosure. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile. Valuer: William Augustus Raper, Battle, Sussex, Gentleman. Dimensions of maps: 89 cm x 120 cm, 89 cm x 127 cm
