Enclosure award and map of Burstow (parish), Surrey. Map on two sheets covering the enclosed area only (692 acres) and showing the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, woods, named commons (Burstow, Copthorne, Outwood, Smallfield and Weather Hill), named roads, post mill, allotments (numbered with roman numerals), field boundary ownership, some named landowners. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown. Map certified for accuracy, 23 August 1855. Valuer: John Austin Nockolds, Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex, Land Surveyor. Dimensions of maps: 183 cm x 126 cm, 94 cm x 188 cm
