Enclosure award and map of Whiston - Beacon Hill Common (in the parish of Penkridge), Staffordshire. Map on two sheets. Map A covers the enclosed area only (7 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, field boundary ownership, some named landowners. There is an enlargement of detail. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 2 chains. By John Bright, May 1862. Map B covers the enclosed area and some other land (500 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows [?]water mill, some named landowners. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 9 chains. By J Bright, 24 June 1862. Both maps certified for accuracy, 20 October 1862.
