Enclosure award and map of Niton (parish), Hampshire (Isle of Wight). Map on two sheets. Map A covers the enclosed area only (453.594 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows open fields names, footpaths or bridleways, field boundary ownership, some named landowners, named physical features, relief (shown by rock drawing). With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. By William Mortimer & Sons, Newport, Isle of Wight, 1857. Map certified for accuracy, 18 May 1859. Map B covers the enclosed area only (453.594 acres) and shows the land before enclosure. Also shows open fields names, footpaths or bridleways, some named landowners, [?]lynchets (shown by shaded areas), named physical features, relief (shown by rock drawing). With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown. By William Mortimer & Sons, Newport, Isle of Wight, October 1856. Valuer: Charles Osborn, Fareham, Hampshire, Land Surveyor.
