Description

Enclosure map of Liss (parish), Hampshire. Map on seven sheets covering the enclosed area only (695 acres) and showing the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, well, woods, named commons, footpaths or bridleways, stopped-up paths, named turnpike roads, houses, named inn, named railway, [?]water mill, boundary tree, field boundary ownership, some named landowners. There is an index map. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. By R W Attree, Valuer and Surveyor, 8 Cannon Row, Westminster, 1857. Map certified for accuracy, 10 September 1864. Valuer: Richard Wakeford Attree, 8 Cannon Row, Westminster. Dimensions of maps: 35 cm x 49 cm, 51 cm x 111 cm, 66 cm x 170 cm, 50 cm x 228 cm, 74 cm x 90 cm, 33 cm x 113 cm, 41 cm x 56 cm
