Enclosure award and map of Hawkridge (parish), Somerset. Map covers the enclosed area only (2015 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, well, spring, named river, woods, commons, hedges, barrow, named roads, houses and uninhabited buildings (distinguished by colour), quarry, boundary marks, field boundary ownership, some named landowners, named physical features, relief (shown by hachures). Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown. By Thomas Cruse, Warminster, Wiltshire, 1858. Map certified for accuracy, 6 October 1859. Valuer: Thomas Davis, Warminster, Wiltshire, Land Surveyor
