Description

Enclosure award and map of Longville [Cheney Longville] (in the parish of Wistanstow and Hopesay), Shropshire. Map covers the enclosed area only (70 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows named river (with direction of flow), spring, well, woods, sycamore, plantations, gates, pinfold, footpaths or bridleways, named railway, boundary stone, parish boundary, field boundary ownership, some named landowners, relief (shown by hachures). With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown. By J & W Mickleburgh, Montgomery, 1867. Map certified for accuracy, 10 November 1870. Valuer: John Mickleburgh, Montgomery, Montgomeryshire, Land Surveyor
