Enclosure award and map of Girton (hamlet or township in the parish of South Scarle), Nottinghamshire. Map on two sheets. Map 1 covers the enclosed area and some other land (675 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, named river (with direction of flow), orchards, footpaths or bridleways, roads, field boundary ownership. Includes plans and sections of watercourses. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Map certified for accuracy, 22 May 1851. Map 2 covers the enclosed area and some other land (675 acres) and shows the land before enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, named river (with direction of flow), orchards, open fields, open field strips, footpaths or bridleways. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains.
