Enclosure award and map of East Coanwood (in the parish of Haltwhistle), Northumberland. Map on two sheets. Map A covers the enclosed area and some other land (2250 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows woods, boundary currock (named, pictorial), field boundary ownership, named landowners, relief (shown by hachures). Scale: 1 inch to 4 chains. Construction lines shown. By John Walton, [1849]. Map certified for accuracy, 12 June 1851. Map B is a 'Plan of the Ancient Lands' and includes encroachments under 60 years. Valuer: John Lee, Ayle, Kirkhaugh, Northumberland, Yeoman. Dimensions of maps: 201 cm x 158 cm, 90 cm x 59 cm
