Enclosure award and map of Ribbleton and Brockholes (township and hamlet in the parish of Preston), Lancashire. Map covers the enclosed area only (101 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, woods, orchards, recreation grounds, bowling green, footpaths or bridleways, named roads, inn, some named buildings, pit or quarry, field boundary ownership, some named landowners. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. By W Thornborrow, Surveyor and Valuer, 1862. Map certified for accuracy, 24 March 1870. Valuer: Thomas Jackson, Broughton, Lancashire, Land Surveyor
