Enclosure award and map of Cadishead (hamlet in the parish of Eccles), Lancashire. Map on two sheets. Map A covers the enclosed area only (100 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows river (with direction of flow), woods, named roads, land allotted to the poor, field boundary ownership, some named landowners. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 2 chains. There is a separate scale of yards. By Henry White, Land Surveyor, Warrington, 1854. Map certified for accuracy, 6 March 1856. Map B covers the enclosed area and some other land (580 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, woods, plantations, named turnpike roads, roads (some named).
