Also shows lakes or ponds, canal, woods, field gates, footpaths or bridleways, named turnpike roads, houses and uninhabited buildings (distinguished by colour), named buildings, field boundary ownership. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown. By W Brown, Tring, [1853]. Map certified for accuracy, 16 August 1854. Valuer: William Brown, Tring, Hertfordshire, Land Surveyor
