Enclosure award and map of Walkern [Churchend Common] (parish), Hertfordshire. Map covers the enclosed area only (567 acres) and shows the land before and after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, named commons, open field strips, footpaths or bridleways, houses and uninhabited buildings (distinguished by colour), church, rectory, field boundary ownership, some named landowners. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. By C F Humbert, Watford, Hertfordshire, 1849. Note on the face of the map reads 'Copied from the Parish Map'. Map certified for accuracy, 23 September 1850. Valuer: Charles Francis Humbert, Watford, Hertfordshire, Land Surveyor
