Enclosure award and map of Bengeo (parish), Hertfordshire. Map covers the enclosed area only (395 acres) and shows the land before and after enclosure. The award states that land in Sacomb and Stapleford is included as well. Also shows hedges, road widths, field boundary ownership, named enclosure allottees. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown, with chainages. By William Bryan Wood, Barnbridge, Chippenham, 1850. Map certified for accuracy, 29 July 1852. Valuer: Thomas Edward Washbourne, 8 Cannon Row, Westminster, Middlesex, Land Surveyor
