Description

Enclosure award and map of Badgeworth (parish), Gloucestershire. Map covers the enclosed area only (105 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows woods, gates, footpaths or bridleways, named turnpike roads, houses and uninhabited buildings (distinguished by colour), named inn, boundary stones, field boundary ownership, relief (shown by hill-shading). Antiquities shown: Roman Encampment, with ditches and bank. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. By [?William Knowles], Gloucester, 1872. Map certified for accuracy, 22 May 1873. Valuer: William Knowles, Gloucester, Land Surveyor
