Enclosure award and map of Netteswell (parish), Essex. Map on two sheets. Map A covers the enclosed area only (204 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows woods, field names, railway (with station), field boundary ownership, some named landowners. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. By William Thomas Heard, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, 1848. Map certified for accuracy, 14 March 1851. Map B covers the enclosed area and some other land (1350 acres) and shows the land before enclosure. Also shows woods, rectory, named railway, named water mill, some named landowners. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 6 chains. By W T Heard, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, [1850]. Valuer: William Heard, St Margarets, Hertfordshire, Land Surveyor. Dimensions of maps: Map A) 57 cm x 193 cm, Map B) 53 cm x 122 cm
