Enclosure award and map of Bamford (township in the parish of Hathersage), Derbyshire. Map covers the enclosed area only (1000 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows well, trough, woods, plantations, post-enclosure field acreages, road widths, named inn, boundary stones, field boundary ownership, named enclosure allottees, named physical features, relief (shown by rock drawing and hachures). With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown, with chainages. Map certified for accuracy, 2 April 1857. Valuer: John Wright, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, Land Surveyor
