Enclosure award and map of Skirwith (township in the parish of Kirkland), Cumberland. Map covers the enclosed area only (900 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, named river, footpaths or bridleways, stopped-up paths, chapel, pit or quarry, [?]water mill, field boundary ownership, some named landowners. With border. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Map certified for accuracy, 4 February 1858. Valuer: Crayston Webster, Kendal, Westmorland, Land Surveyor
