Enclosure award and map of Kirkandrews on Eden (parish), Cumberland. Map A covers the enclosed area only (138 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows plantations, post-enclosure field acreages, named buildings, field boundary ownership, some named landowners, named enclosure allottees. Includes three enlargements of detail. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Map certified for accuracy, 26 November 1857. Map B covers the whole parish / township (1010.52 acres) and shows the land after enclosure. Also shows named river, St Andrews well, site of canal reservoir, woods, plantations, graveyard, rectory, named buildings, named railway, named physical features. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Valuer: David Browne, Penrith, Cumberland, Land Surveyor. Dimensions of maps: Map A) 66 cm x 118 cm, Map B) 133 cm x 100 cm
